Meet Dr. Herrman
Elisa Herrman, D.M.D, M.S. is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the Wilsonville and greater Portland community by helping everyone achieve their most confident smile in a fun and welcoming environment. Her mission at Wilsonville Orthodontics is to deliver personalized and specialized care to every individual, drawing on her extensive clinical experiences in traditional orthodontics and complex interdisciplinary care.
Dr. Herrman grew up on a family farm in Southwest Michigan and attended the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate studies, where she studied biology and German. She always dreamed of living in Oregon and joined her PNW-native husband, Andrew, in Portland to pursue her dental training at Oregon Health & Science University. For her advanced training, Dr. Herrman completed the orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics residency program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she gained comprehensive clinical experience and was a member of the cleft and craniofacial team. Dr. Herrman has authored and co-authored multiple scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and is certified by the American Board of Orthodontists.
In their free time, Dr. Herrman and Andrew love spending time outdoors. Some of their favorite activities include kayaking on the Willamette River, hiking in the Gorge, and camping in different corners of the PNW. They also enjoy spending time with their family and friends and participating in community events.
